In the case of individual courses, you can cancel the lesson 24 hours in advance, with the lesson being carried over to the following week or mutually agreed upon time. If you cancel the lesson on the day it is to be held, without a demonstrable serious reason, the lesson will be forfeited in favor of SKYPERS. In the case of group courses, the canceled lesson will be forfeited, unless the whole group agrees otherwise.
How long does it take to move up to a higher language level, for example from A2 to B1?
Progress in languages is very individual and depends on many factors. For example, if you have already learned and speak another foreign language. The teacher is always just a mediator, which means that a lot depends on your efforts to study at home. It is also important how often you have lessons and in what form. Taking all of this into account, it is not possible to definitively determine exactly how long it will take to move from one level to another. In practice, a range of 80-100 teaching hours is sufficient to reach the basic A1 level.
How quickly will I learn to speak in a given foreign language?
First of all, it depends on the form of the course and the type of person you are. Some people start talking faster, others take longer. In the case of group courses, there is more space for communication between students, while in the case of an individual course there is space for communication on specific topics that the student has requested. The number of lessons and preparation with regards to self-study are also important. If you can find the time to learn, you will see progress to a higher level after half a year.
