Explanation of language levels
- Understands and uses familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at meeting a particular need.
- Can introduce her/himself and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details.
- Interacts in a simple way if the other person has a slow and clear pronunciation and is ready to help.
- In familiar topics, s/he understands sentences and frequently used expressions.
- Can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters.
- Can describe in simple terms aspects of his/her background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need.
- Understands the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters at work, school, leisure, etc.
